The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex. Originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there.

The Nekresi monastery complex stands over the beautiful Alazani valley. The Nekresi monastery complex consists of several buildings from different periods. The oldest structure is a small, basilica type church from the fourth century.

The house-museum of Georgian poet Alexandre Chavchavadze is situated in Tsinandali. The Museum involves a dwelling house and a decorative garden, taking in 12 hectares of area for the time being. Despite the small territory, the garden displays unique species of world flora.

Sighnaghi Museum was established in 2007. Signagi Museum exhibits Archeology, Ethnography and Medieval expositions. Intensive archeological activities started in Kakheti in the 60-ies of the 20th c. Majority of the unearthed items such as household and cultic articles ranging in time from the Stone Age to the 1st c. BC, are now displayed at the Signagi Museum.

Alaverdi Monastery is a Georgian Eastern Orthodox monastery located 25 km (16 mi) from Akhmeta, in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia. While parts of the monastery date back to 6th century, the present day cathedral was built in the 11th century by Kvirike III of Kakheti, replacing an older church of St. George.
